Powering Ireland's infrastructure since 1998.
Electrical installation design and advisory, AutoCAD and ePLAN drawings, budgeting, scheduling, tender estimates — right through to troubleshooting on site. We handle the full project or just the bits you need.
What We Do
Specialist electrical engineering across every sector
LV Switchgear
Main distribution boards designed and built in-house. We work with several leading enclosure manufacturers — selecting the right one for your project and budget.
Learn more →Motor Control Centres
Full MCC design and build for industrial applications. We match the starter type to what the motor actually needs and build the complete panel in-house.
Learn more →Power Distribution
Sub-distribution boards, combination units, and isolator boxes for commercial and industrial fit-outs. Built and tested in-house at our workshop.
Learn more →Automation & Control
PLC programming, process automation, and remote monitoring panels. We design, build, and program automation systems for industrial processes.
Learn more →Refrigeration Systems
Control panels for refrigeration and cold storage applications. Designed and built for the demanding conditions these systems operate in.
Learn more →Renewable Energy
Control panels and electrical systems for renewable energy projects. We've been building for the renewables sector for many years.

Built on 25 Years of Getting It Right
ECS started as a small operation in Tyrone and grew into one of Northern Ireland's go-to panel builders. We're part of the MEW Group — family-owned, which means decisions get made by people who actually work here, not a boardroom somewhere.
We moved into our current workshop in Aughnacloy back in 1998 — an old tiling factory we've turned into a proper manufacturing facility. Twenty-five people work here. Most of them have been here for years. That kind of experience doesn't come from a training manual.
We use ePLAN for our design work, carry ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, and work with every major component manufacturer in the market. But what actually sets us apart is simpler than that: we know what we're doing, and we do it properly.
Trusted By
We've completed projects for some of Ireland's largest commercial and industrial institutions.
Certified to the Highest Standards
ISO 9001
Quality management. Every panel we build follows documented processes — from design review through final testing.
ISO 14001
Environmental management. We track and reduce our environmental impact across manufacturing and waste disposal.
ISO 45001
Health & safety. Our workshop, our processes, and our site work all meet international safety standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the project scope. A straightforward distribution board might be 2–3 weeks. A full MCC or complex switchgear build could be 6–8 weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront and stick to it.
Yes. We deliver across Ireland and the UK. We can also provide commissioning support on site if needed — making sure everything works as intended once installed.
All our panels are built to BS EN 61439 (the current standard for low-voltage switchgear assemblies). We hold ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications. Every panel is fully tested before dispatch.
Absolutely. We can build from your drawings, or we can produce our own designs in ePLAN or AutoCAD. Most clients come to us with a specification and we handle the full design and build.
We provide full documentation and test certificates with every build. If you need modifications, repairs, or technical support after installation, just give us a call — we're always happy to help.
